Pretty Little Liars.
Pictures credited to www.yahoo.com
A Tv series that is filled with high school dramas, latest trend fashion statement, strong friendship and cute cute guy actors like Drew Van Acker! This is certainly a TV series not to be missed. I started watching it this year and got immediately hooked by it. All the plots, how the story flow, how evil reality is and how retribution always comes back to one... it is really super amazing. However, having said that all, I personally feel that this show really portray a very important and significant part of human life, it is to not lie too much, for one lie leads to another and it will be a never ending spiral to doom. From season 1 all the way to Season 5, you will see the progressive build up and how the major story of A comes about. It was all because of misunderstandings and family conflicts, human mistakes, motherly love and the mishap of identity that created a monster in Charles, which in turn Cece was born to torture the lives of four innocent girls.
But the fact that after all that insurmountable obstacles, all that pain and sufferings, they are still standing tall and strong. No matter what happens, they stick together, they helped each other out and make sure their friends are always safe. No matter how far A goes to ruin and sabotage every little plan they had, they still survived.... The quote " Everything happens for a reason" is well said... if Aria, Emily, Hannah and spencer have not gone through all of these, how will they then be as strong as they were today... and they also gain much experience on certain things along the way..
The best part of the series is that I get to see so many solving crime mysteries, cracking of codes, girl night out and secret revealing.. it is indeed a roller coaster tv series!!!
My personally fave character is Spencer, as I extremely love her guts, wit and she is really smart and talented. What about you? Who is your fave?
Anyways, when u have some free time on your hands, take some time to watch these amazing plots, you will connect with their stories somehow and you will like it!
The part where you see how the A monster was sadly created.. will make you feel so sad... A was actually a boy with a heart that hopes to be a girl... he was sweet and loving, especially smart and protective of his siblings.. but no matter how he showed his love, his father always disliked him.
The most beautiful thing in this world is to be able to be yourself, your true self..... so be yourself and don't be afraid!
Yours sincerely, Daphne. till the next time.

Awkward
Pictures credited to www.yahoo.com
Hi all! once again I am here to share with all of you another of my already favourite Tv series show! The name of the Tv series is Awkward. It is about this girl named Jenna Hamilton, that have a blog called the invisible girl and she changed it to That girl at the end of Season 1 Episode 1. I chanced upon this amazing tv series on the Top 25 on the teen's most favourite Tv series, and I read the description for Awkward and immediately know how Jenna felt, immediately I know that this tv series clicked with me. Last night I started watching the very first episode. It was already fun to watch and I am filled with so much anticipation for the next episode. For any of you out there that feels so small and insecure at school, thinking that you do not fit it.... all the girls hating you for your guts and your confidence... liking that one guy but no matter what you cannot be with him... having a diary and blog that you rant about all the messy and crazy factors of being a teenager... and having a super cool but messy room.. you are sure to enjoy this amazing show! Trust me you will love it!
I know I will watch on and sure update all of you!
I shall end off with talking about friends today... a true friend is always there for you, they are not selfish and do not think twice to help you, they do not blame you for little mistakes or text and talk to you sarcastically... they think for you not think for themselves and certainly do not leave you doing projects alone while they go study for their own exams. A friend is very important, so be wise about it.. if they make you feel inferior or sad, then you know they are not right for you...
Alright that's all people! stay strong!
Sincerely, Daphne
Teen wolf Tv series
Pictures credited to www.yahoo.com
Omg... I have been so caught in this amazing teen tv series called Teen Wolf. If you have not watched it, you have to do it NOW!
I chanced upon this show through the many instagram fan accounts. I mean this show really have so many cute guys for you to admire. Okay.. I am just kidding.. it is the amazing story line that pulls you into their story.. it is the amazing plot and actions given that make you go WOW.
My personal fave actor is Derek Hale, he is a man of power, loyalty and most importantly he is calm and cool headed during any tough situations. Although he may look all tough and strong on the outside.. he is actually a person full of soul and love. He fell in love four times in the show. One to Paige-his teenage crush, another to Kate Argent- a wolf hunter that burn his family alive, third to a demonic teacher whom turns out to be some evil witch and fourth which I liked the most is a assassin girl...
There were so many instances that I thought Derek will just die. But again and again, he stood firmly on his feet and fought on. The last episode of S4 was amazingly plotted!! He turns out to be evolving into a black wolf, sort of like a blue moon wolf that took down kate and her besekers.
Omigosh... I can keep going on and on about this supernatural filled movie show!
The reason why I like it so much is because it embodies the idea of Friendship, trust, loyalty, power and strength. There were so many instances in the show that reminds you how important is your family, so many incidents that make you smile and laugh and a plethora of actions that prove to you nothing is impossible and that hope is indeed the greatest weapon in the world.
I have not watched Season 5 yet for I am trying to slowly savour it, I cant bear to let teen wolf stop.
However, of course there are certain deaths that make me want to break down! Like the kind and Stoic Allison, she died figuring out how to kill the dark forces and she was the first the figure it out.
But having state that all, I also love all the flashbacks, little comedies, love and historical throwbacks.
An action-filled tv series that capture life in a supernatural perspective is certainly worth your time!
Well to end off I would just like to say if I could be any one of the character, I would be Lydia. I am so excited at the thought of being a banshee! you get to figure out stuff, and help save life. Indeed it is an amazing sidekick talent.
Alright, that's all people! Thanks for your time!
Yours sincerely, Daphne.

Well, I went to school to buy a delicious western food and serve it to my father as a way to show my appreciation. The above other two dishes are cooked with love from my mum. Our parents go all out for us, protecting us from the external harms and making sure that we grow and live to be healthy youths, healthy adults.
Nevertheless, Our parents are also always there for us when we needed a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on, they guide us through every painful obstacles and laugh with us at every joyous moment.

potato lady dish
Dark soya sauce chicken
Egg cauliflower dish
Beancurd cabbage dish & Century egg tofu dish
Vietnam shrimp dish
Hey there people! It had been such a long time since I ever posted anything. But this time, I am bringing an amazing thing for all of you! I am truly amazed and inspired by my talented mother whom always cook spectacular and scrumptious dishes for us.
So, my mother and I came up with this idea to share with all of you her inspired dishes from my loving grandmother- Ai Choo.
Although, I did not get to see her before she passed away, the stories and pictures that my mum showed me over the years is already enough for me to know that she is an amazing and loving grandmother.
My mum have always hoped that me and my brothers will remember our grandmother ,thus she always try to cook up dishes that was passed down from her mother.
Such a beautiful cycle of life, such an amazing way to pass down a true love through dishes. Wow, how I hope I can cook like my mother.
So, as you can see from the above pictures, these are some of the great dishes whipped up by my dearest mother. There is many traditional dishes and healthy vegetarian food. I did asked my mum once, how she came up all these amazing ideas on the spot. All she told me was:" My mind thinks of all the great dish your grandmother cooked for me and whatever I have in the fridge, I try to make the best dish I can."
I am truly grateful for my mother, she never failed to take good care of the family, cooking such wonderful dishes all these years. Umm, her cooked food is the thing that makes me miss home during a camp ( hahaha!!)
To my Grandmother, I really am grateful for your everything! I will continue this very blog posts to pass on your legacy, your name and your love.
Last but not least, I thank you all for reading this post! I will be officially starting these form of posts, do await for more!!!

My Reflection on Forest Adventure and Dragon Boat!!
Hey there people!!
I have promised some of my friends that I will be writing about this way back in February. I am utterly sorry that I hold back on this for so long.. so lets get started!!
So, this adventure happened back on 6 February 2015 at Bedok Reservoir. As you can see from the above pictures, the first one is the area where we had our high elements course. And just nearby there is the dragon boat area. The second picture depicts my blue paper band that I got there:) (keeping it to prove my relatives that I tried the high elements :D)
The high obstacles for the forest adventure did seemed scary and daunting at first, and do not get me wrong, I still am afraid of it till today! And the rainy weather did not make it any better, with the cold drenched clothes making us shiver in the cold by the minute, it was not a moment to forget. We even had to learn and remember the rules while standing under that pouring weather. However, the rain did not stop us from continuing, we all listened to instructions carefully and tried our best to complete the scary high elements. Of course, we learnt basic rules to arrange the hooks and ropes and even practice a small flying fox, which by the way is much like a sandy experience.
And the worst thing is that when you move up from a level to another, it just get harder and harder, the elements are more tricky and certainly more challenging. I cant imagine that almost all my friends were enjoying it. I really have to thank my friends that are always there to help me get through each obstacles. I remember one of them helping to persuade me to get on with the flying fox, when I keep wanting to get down. Talking about this right now, my hands are already starting to sweat buckets!
So, after taking a long time to take that leap and screaming through the jet line like a scared child, half way through, I opened my eyes.. Honestly, I was very scared and terrified that I might drop into the river while flying fox, but it was certainly a great experience, the view was beautiful, I could remember how blue the sky was. how green the tree was, how clear the water below my legs was, how the wind was brushing against my cheeks and how all of a sudden I had no worries and troubles... But BAM, there goes the sandy experience and I am back to earth, back from fantasy land :)
You know that type of gut feeling you get after you had a great experience? Well, I wanted to have more of that amazing flying fox moment, but... the second high element was too daunting, it was too much for me.. I spend minutes, climbing up and down the rope ladder trying to argue with my inner crazy self, but finally I gave up and went back to rest, its the scary cat living in me fault!! Nah, at least I get to have one of that great moment, and I can certainly check flying fox off my lists now :)
Moving on to my favourite part of the day, Dragon Boat!!! I love water sports since I was a little girl, thus when I saw the chance to dragon boat, I was immediately on cloud nine! I love all the techniques that I have learnt, like easy, up and etc.. counting the rhythms and rowing the boat with my friends is indeed a great and fun experience, its like we are all in the same boat, trying our best to make it to the goal together, and at the same time we are forming stronger bonds and spending quality time with each other. Although, John Gracious keep mentioning something scary( you know what I am talking about:)) Oh yes!! and the fun part was that we also get to compete with the other groups and get to splash water at each other, kind of like the higher level of water bomb:D
Overall, I really have to say that dragon boat is really fun and enriching. It is also pretty relaxing when the cool breeze is blowing across your face and you feel so accomplished when you helped move the boat. Teamwork and alertness is surely needed. Of course, my group would not have so much fun without our amazing coaches, Kim and Mei Nu :)
All in all, this forest adventure surely did make me more confident. The high elements also taught me much vital life lesson, like in life, sometimes you just have to take the first step and try your best so that you will be able to taste the fruits of your labour, and if you never try you will never know. It also taught me something, sometimes in life, it is better not to know what our future holds, not to know how our ending will be like, because when I saw what lies ahead of me is full of scary obstacles, I did not even want to take the first step.. So it is always best that we take every step with happiness and work hard for our future. Be brave and be bold to take that step!!
Last but not least, I want to thank Singapore Polytechnic for giving me such an golden opportunity to make more friends and learn such valuable life lessons. I sincerely enjoyed that day!
And to John Gracious, we all made it and survived the forest adventure, thanks for being such a nice friend too! Our boat was much more lively with you! :D
And to all of you, thanks for taking your time to read!! Till the next time!
Sincerely, Daphne :)

Life...
picture credited to www.yahoo.comDear readers,
How have all of you been so far? I hope that you all are great and happy at this point of time. Life have been really hard and tiring now, its tough when you grow up and starts to understand things and start to experience things out of your little world. Thus, I thought it might be a good time for me to share with you all my thoughts on life. Before I start, I just want to say the picture I chose today is a quote '' Find that magical place in your world and live there.'' Its a quote that makes me dream, makes me think of a fantasy land free of worries and troubles but only roses and candies, it also makes me think of what I really hope my life would be like.
However, I know that this is not true and is impossible in my situation, but it is great to have a little beautiful daydream once in a while. I mean, life is short right? :)
Alright, sorry for rambling on and on, lets begin on my thoughts on Life...
I like to think of life like a movie, a book, a journal, a diary, something that captures every moment, something that is able to store our memories & our secrets, something that is filled with both bad and good times.
Each and every one of us have a Life to live, have a faith to accept and a problem to solve. Some of us might be bemoaning about the life we have now, the faith we need to swallow and embrace, we hope and wish for another life, but have you thought of this? why would you be given this life?
There is a reason why and everything happens for a reason, because god believe that you are the only person that can go through this tunnel... That's the miracle and magic in life, you just got to believe it. I know its hard to say it all, but I have gone through those times, hoping that my life will be better... failed birthdays, missed opportunities, lost belongings, family quarrels, but that is part of life, that is what that makes me who I am and what I am, It also makes me stronger... so I embrace my life, I learnt to love my life, that way I will not live miserably but I will live more meaningfully and happily. So, you see it, life is what it is, it is your perspective and perception that helps you see life in a better and much more positive way..
If you are a student, your life will be filled with worries on grades, peer pressure, friends, meeting parents and teachers expectations, fitting in to the picture, unclear future, etc..
If you are a parent, you will be worried for your children, the bills, the workplace, the expectations of society, etc...
If you are a teacher, you will be worried about your students grades and at the same time, you have to juggle your family matters....
If you are a leader, you will be worried of disappointing your group members, you will be worried of making the wrong decisions, you will be worried of tomorrow....
If you are reading this now, I hope that at least you will feel better, because I want you to know that at least, you have me who understands how you feel..
Life is a never ending lists, its full of things and tasks you have to complete, may it be for yesterday, tomorrow or the future, life does not wait for you, it just keeps giving you a heap of problem sums to solve each day.
However, that is life. You cant change it, and the more you bemoan and think of having a better life, your time will fly even faster and you will regret not spending your time more wisely.. Believe me, it will be better to work hard now, focus on the tasks you have, make sure you win this battle, make sure you overcome that mountain of troubles and obstacles, for you never know, maybe at the end of the tunnel is your fantasy, your dreamland, your goals...
In addition, if there is a moment when you feel like comparing your life to others, think of this, you are who you are, everyone have a different set of colouring tools to paint their future, but if you try to look at others and follow, how are you going to do that? Your life can be amazing if you stop comparing yourself to others. And if you are worried for your future, worried for tomorrow, don't be, cause you have to concentrate on the battle and try not to lose it, as worrying does not empty tomorrow worries, rather it empties today's energy. So let us not throw away our energy bar in the middle of climbing the mountain!! :)
Finally, I just want to share certain movies and songs you can visit to gain inspirations and motivations. Life is certainly full of worries and short but just take some time to watch these movies and listen to these songs, let them work the magic in your heart for you...
1) The Climb (Miley Cyrus)
2) Mean ( Taylor Swift)
3) If You could see me now ( The Script)
4) Superheroes (the Script)
5) hall of fame ( the script)
6) Try ( Colbie Caillat )
7) Perfect ( pink)
8) Fireworks, Wide awake ( Katy pery)
10) Watch some comedy shows to brighten up your day!! ( 21 jump street, Honest trailers etc..)
11) Watch several motivational shows like karate kid, etc.
12) Read some motivational books and quotes online :)
All in all, I just hope that you all will step out of the cage of worries you have been entrapping yourself in, take a deep breathe and tell yourself, this is your life, you have to make it perfect. Before you step out of that door, tell yourself that today is gonna be the perfect and most beautiful day of your life. Before you exit your bathroom, look in the mirror and smile, tell yourself that you look amazing. Before you sleep, look at the starry sky and smile, put away all your worries and thoughts, rest well and dream of your fantasy land :)
I hope that you all will feel better and look forward to your life with renewed vigour and may everything be smooth sailing!!! All the best and good luck! Stay amazing, stay positive and stay Strong! :)
Till the next time, Sincerely, Daphne :)

Tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Hi Readers, I thank you for reading this very posts. It is a posts from my heart to pay my deepest respect to my country leader Mr Lee Kuan Yew. I hope that you will hear this and that I want you to know that you will exist in our hearts forever.
I will start this posts by first talking about the pictures I took. The very first one is a tribute poster I put together on behalf of my family. It is a piece of gratitude to show our appreciation and thanks to Mr Lee Kuan Yew for all that he have done. My Dad went to queue up yesterday and managed to place this poster at the Parliament house. This is the least we can do to pay our respect to our great leader. The second picture is the tribute ribbon that my aunt received at her estate area and she gave them to me, I hung them right in front of my table, where I will always see it and remember Mr Lee Kuan Yew. The very last picture is a project that I pasted on my wall for almost 4 years, it is a project on my grandmother, the story of Singapore past and history. It is a piece of project that made me grateful of the changes in Singapore. How Singapore grew to become such a beautiful and united country.
Dear Mr Lee Kuan Yew,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for Singapore. Since I was a little girl, my mother used to tell me how Singapore used to be, the toilets that they have to used, the bad conditions of the streets, the situation where people were crammed in a small room and that Singapore used to be black and white. But after you came, Singapore changed, you brought in a spectrum and plethora of colours to Singapore.
You gave us a good educational system, you created a united Singapore, you brought people of different races and religion together and you never fail to make Singapore better.
The miracles that happen in Singapore is not because of luck, it is because you worked really hard thus we can taste the fruits of your labour. From being the safest country to one of the most developed country, it is all due to your effort and contribution. I used to take all these for granted, thinking that all these will stay forever, now that I have grown up, I know that we have to cherish what Singapore have and make sure we do our utmost to preserve what Singapore have.
I can never thank you enough for all that you have contributed, but one thing I know for sure is that your positivity and vigour will remain in my heart and mind forever. I hope that you will be able to see how we all love you and am truly sad that you are gone. Thank you for being our leader, our father, our hero and our everything. We have today, tomorrow and a bright future because of you. I really cannot imagine Singapore without you. Thank you for dedicating your life to Singapore.
To the Great Leader, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, I give you my fullest respect.
Sincerely, Daphne.
I hope that all of you will remember how much Mr Lee Kuan Yew have done for Singapore, may all of us think of our great leader all the time and may we continue to stay strong and united as a nation. May we all make him proud :)
Thank you for reading. Once again, Thank you Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Sincerely, Daphne.
Cinderella 2015!!
Hey there people! I know that I have not done a movie review for such a long time. So, fret not! I will be talking about the beautifully captivating movie, Cinderella. So allow me to share my thoughts on this enchanting movie...
Just like any other Cinderella movie, you should have already know the plot by heart. But I got carried away by this amazingly crafted movie, where it is just perfect. I enjoyed every moment watching it.
It started with a beautiful scenery of cheerful and happy Ella running around the vast green field feeding and talking to her little animal friends. Dancing and laughing happily with her merchant Father and beautiful Mother. However, all happy endings will eventually have an end, and sadly Ella lost her beloved Mother. She lost the Mother that taught her many things, that brought her up with great values and virtues. Her Mother last few words etched and craved into Ella's heart till she grew up and became a fair lady- Have Courage and Be Kind...
Ella grew up with her Father, walking down the fields together, talking together and reading books together. All of these lonely but happy moments were put to an end when Ella's Father decided to remarry. The devastating thing is that her stepmother is cruel, mean and ridiculously outrageous. Both of her step sisters was not as good either, they were unruly and their manners were really bad. And to add fuel to the fire, Ella's Father tragically died during his work, leaving only the branches Ella asked for. I loved how they showed Ella's maturity and love to his Father. In addition, I thought that the directors was really good to have selected the right person for each roles!
So as you know, right after Ella's Father passed on, all the misery and pain came to Ella, just like the evil spirits from the Pandora box. Ella was forced to do chores day to night and was only left with scraps of food to eat. She wore the same ragged and torn blue dress everyday, just like how she wore a brave and nonchalant front towards the loss of her Father. I especially love the fact that they actually said that the ill treatment was seen as good because it somehow helped her forget of her grieve and sorrows and it also managed to help her find her true love- the prince charming.
In addition, I really like that they included so many cute and adorable scenes of her interaction with the animals. It was great that Ella met the prince in the forest while riding a horse and standing up for herself, her believes and her stand. It kind of show that she is not a typical damsel in distress. In fact, Ella portrays a strong and brave character in the show. The fact that the prince faked a identity was also a significant moment, as it proves that love should not be about the status, it should come from the true feeling from the heart. Not only that, I love that the prince repeatedly used the words Ella told him at the forest. ( What is done, does not mean it should be done) and ( Have Courage and Be Kind). I love that they show how the prince talked about Ella and how they keep thinking of each other. That's how love feels I guess :)
So as days passed, the girl that sleeps beside the cinders, talk to her little friends and sleeps in the dark attic received a message and was very elated to go to the ball to meet her friend, Kid.
And I forgot to mention that, I love how Cinderella made the attic lively and her positive spirit really makes me feel so alive. Ella worked really hard just to help doll up her crazy and '' well- behaved'' step-sisters. However, she was still forbidden to go to the ball.. sadly enough, she was even pushed further to the wall when they torn her beloved dress. Her mother's dress...
At this point of time, magic happened, her Fairy God Mother came to her rescue. Many people did say why did the fairy god mother not help Ella long ago, but I thought that the plot was amazing, if the fairy god mother had came early, she might not have met her true love :) This part was my favourite where there is so many funny and joyful moments. Her stunning and intricate dress is literally imprint on my mind.... I love it! I love how the butterflies became her designs and every bit of that moment was amazing. Just pitch perfect :)
So off Ella went to the ball, it was amazing seeing her smile all the time. Although she was not a princess or from a affluent family, there was a princess burning in her, she have the manners, the poise and the charisma. When she danced, it was as if her life flashed before her, and that was her happiest moment, the only moment when she can be herself, the young spirited and positive girl. Her presence to the ball, was even brighter than the chandelier hanging from the celling. She was amazing. But as all of you know, the midnight magic caused her to spoil the perfect moment at the secret garden. I like how the prince swing Ella it kind of portray that he will cherish and love Ella a lot :)
The transition of the humans and carriage was a revolutionary Alice in the wonderland all of a sudden, at least that's how I feel. Ella was very elated and contented, she had the most amazing time in her life, she kept the glass slippers and penned down her thoughts.
Lastly, it was the amazing shoe testing moment, where all the villagers and everyone from the kingdom tried on the shoe hoping to be that Mystery Princess. Sadly, Ella was locked away. But her mice helped her in the end when her singing was heard by the Prince. I have to say, I really love how Ella talked back to the step mother. And I love how she went out to try the shoes being herself, wearing the old torn dress when she first met Kid. The story end off with her saying she forgive the stepmother and she lived happily ever after with Kid. Kidella...
All in all, I just want to say, it does not matter whether the person you love have the status or the popularity, it all boils down to true love. Love from the heart rules it all. Would you rather be with a person that you love, that will build a shelter to protect you, cherish you and care for you, or a person that gives a shelter and not care for you at all.
I hope that you all will watch this beautiful movie and learn something from it. Love is fragile, Love is free, Love is beautiful but Love do not wait for you. So if you realise you found that person you like in your life, go for it! Don't hold back. And I hope that all of us can be like Ella, where she does not care about materialistic stuff but rather care about being kind to animals and people. Have the courage the be herself, to embrace her imperfections and to have the courage to accept her faith and call herself, Cinderella.
Thank you for you time readers!!
Sincerely, Daphne:) Till the next time !

My BFF Rene :) Thank you for everything!!
Hey there readers! How have all of you been? Today- as you might have guessed by my title- I will be sharing with all of you the story of my best friend Rene .
So like all of you out there, we are inseparable friends that do almost everything together. We go shopping almost all the time, DAISO is our favourite place! Sometimes, when we are able to spare more time, we catch movies together, few days back, we just watched INSURGENT ! And as you might have guessed, we paid a short visit to DAISO too!
In addition, both of us also know each other very well, we know when one of us is feeling down or sad, we go through many insurmountable obstacles together for almost 4 years. The thick and thin we went through together, certainly made our friendship much more stronger. As you can see the above photos I took, those are the precious gifts given to me... Thanks Rene, you always never fail to brighten up my day. She always never fails to make me happy. I was really shocked when she made such a big bucket of cute clay miniatures for me, she must have burn the midnight oil doing that for me.. Thanks again :'') And one thing that she always try to do is to try to find out what I like and surprise me during my birthday, cheeky Rene :D That's why I love being around her, as she always makes me feel special!
Well, now let me talk about how we became friends! So the funny thing is, on the very first day of school, my phone broke down, I was so panicky and shock that I keep talking to my phone: "Come on, please work, just this time, please."
All of a sudden, someone from my back asked me if I wanted to use her phone.
Then it all started, we realise that we were from the same class, and from then on, we never fail to meet each other every single school day. We would be project partners ( history project made us start the crafting hobbies!), we went to the same CCA, Modern dance. We ate at the same place and we talked about the same thing. However, as time past, we merge with other friends, merged with cliques, it was all great, but the time I had with Rene shortened, and many misunderstandings and backstabbing went on. Both of us nearly broke the friendship.. There were many times we cried, we broke down because the whole class turned against us...
Miracles do happen, that's what I always believe, true enough, both of us remained as BFFS and we decided not to bother about others and become study nerds :D We decided to stay back on certain days to study and we worked extremely hard in our examinations and project. Honestly, I was glad that I did that, and Rene, thanks for always standing by me and cheering me up:)
But all happy endings will come to a end some way or another, we split classes in Secondary 3, it was devastating, but nevertheless, we forked out as much time as possible to see each other. So now that we have graduated, we still do meet. We always try our best to make time for each other. We even meet at each others houses to watch movies, do crafting, eat and talk. Each time we meet, we always go crazy and joke about anything we chanced upon. And if you are wondering, Rene can be really crazy at times, you really have to see how she tries to use soft toys to pillow fight me:) But that's also another thing that makes me feel comfortable beside her, because I can go crazy, laugh loudly and joke about anything with her.:)
Finally, I just want to say that, I am certainly grateful to have meet you. You always embrace my imperfections and my craziness. You never fail to laugh at all my stupid jokes, you understand why I love The Walking Dead. You understand why I love to spent time at home, you know what I love to eat, my favourite actor, my favourite colour and you know all of my worries and troubles. Not only that, I also understand why you love Theo James so much, I understand why you love squishy and I will laugh at all your funny moments! (you know what I am talking about)
Thank you for all that you have done for me, I cannot imagine going through Sec 1 &2 alone (you know what I mean) Hope that we will always be Best Friends Forever! (Theo :D)
Even though we are not going to be in the same school anymore, I believe and hope that this friendship will last forever:)
Lastly, I just want to say to all of you that it is never too late to find a close or bff. Some day, some time, somewhere out there, you will be able to find that person that you could call your BFF. So start today! I believe that all of us have that one person in mind now :)
Thanks for Reading Readers!!:)

Say No to Bullying.
Hey there, how have you been doing so far? I thank you for landing yourself to this posts, as this is a very sensitive and important topic I have always wanted to share on this blog. Have you ever been bullied by someone before? Have that someone trampled on you, say nasty things to you, put you down or even make you feel intimidated and inferior? Honestly, I believe every one of you out there had had this one incident before. And, yes, I have been bullied before...
In this world, in this life that each of you are living, there is bound to be people that are jealous of you, that hates you, that despise you and that wants you to suffer. That is inevitable. Because, with people comes friends and with friends comes enemies. However, it is up to each of us to stop this vicious cycle. To reach out and help the stranger beside you, to stand up for a bullied victim, to confront and stop your bully classmates. Humans have that power to change the world, so do it for the better. Would it be amazing and beautiful to see everyone helping each other harmoniously and embracing each other differences?
Sometimes, I really wonder, why do we need to look good and pretty to be accepted by the "popular" group in the class? Why do we need to be smart and intelligent to be accepted and loved by our teachers? Why do we need to have perfect fit and slim bodies to be labelled as beautiful? Why do we need to act like someone else to be called "cool"? Why do we need to dress and talk the way that everyone likes? Why cant we just be who we are and what we really are? Why some people are so judgemental? Why do all of us not embrace each other imperfections?
I am literally filled with this heap of questions whenever I thought of bullying... You know, not everyone is perfect the way they are, so if someone ever tell you that you are not worthy, just put that thought away in some dark place. Do not ever feel that you are the odd one out and you are just not like the others. Ultimately, it is how you feel about yourself that matters, you are the only solution to your problems. Trust yourself, believe yourself, have some faith in yourself and stand strong for yourself. Let the bullies know that they will not get away with it, but that does not mean to fight back aggressively. What I really hope you all will do is a silent but smart meditation. Ever heard of the sweetest revenge is to be happier than your enemies?
Well, the best solution I have for you is to live happily and forget sorrows. Do not let the bullies have a chance to knock you down. If you manage to live happier than your bullies, you already succeed, you already have the upper hand. Always remember this, life is too short for fights and quarrels, live every moment like its the last and you will find happiness that no one will be able to discover. And, if after reading this post, you still do not feel better, try listening to MEAN by Taylor Swift, HALL OF FAME & SUPERHEROES by The Script.
Lastly, I just want to say do not ever bully someone, and before you start discriminating someone ,think twice. Lets build a world free of bullying and full of joy and happiness. May Bullying ends today!
Thank you for Reading!!!
Sincerely, Daphne :)

My Reflection on the Mawai Eco Camp!!
Hey there fellow people! How have all of you been lately? So, as you all already can guess by my title, I will be sharing with all of you my 3D 2N experience at Mawai Eco Camp. It happened back at 2Feb 2015 to 4Feb 2015. It is part of the golden opportunity given to me during the DPA in Singapore Polytechnic.
I would like to start off by saying that I am grateful to be in Group C, as all of you guys are friendly and amazing:)
Unlike most travelling, I was not going to stay at a hotel this time. I was going to stay at "kampong like" homes and learn to survive like in the pasts. Oh yes, I totally recommend you to buy the kampong Adidas shoes there, it helped me survive the swarm forest walk! And talking about the swarm forest walk, it is where we had to walk through a lane of thick and sticky mud, with the help of your friends and tree branches to maintain your balance.
So basically, on the very first day, when I arrived at the destination, the place was full of mosquitoes and the crimson sun was scorching hot, beating down on all of our tired souls. Then, we had to board a boat to reach to our sleeping areas, I will never forget how bumpy and scary it was to alight and board the boat. However, it was still a really great experience as we seldom get to board on boats around Singapore, it is our famous MRT that does the job for us.
In addition, as there were too many girls this time, the girls had to sleep in the main hall, where there are no safari beds build for us. So at night, it was really hard to sleep with the unbalanced wood flooring, but again, it is another experience for us- complacent teenagers.
Ohh, not to forget, the scary and challenging Asli water ocstacles! It was so difficult to balance on the skinny wooden rod and those wobbly ropes. However, it did taught me to be more confident. And, yes, Erica lost her shoe too! About the Drum water rafting, all I have to say is teamwork, timing and the uneven distribution of ropes! ;D
My most memorable part of the very first day is the breathtaking firefly cruise- where we get to board on boats when the brightly lit moon is hanging up in the night sky. The facilitator then told us that that night was a full moon, thus all of the fireflies are not willing to appear, but we can still manage to see them, all we need is patience and be as quiet as possible. The captivating sky was dotted with so many shimmering precious jewels. Everything was so beautiful, how I hope I could entrapped that whole moment in a jar and bring it back home to share with my family :)
Alright, lets move on to the second day. It was the day where we get to trek at the mawai stone hill and explore and observe the site where WWII occurred. It was so sunny and humid, the air was thick but the occasional breeze made us feel better. Plenty of water was needed to hydrate our restless bodies and of course we did games called "happy" to occupy us throughout the endless trek. I would also like to thank my friends, Kanghui, Lynn and Jun for helping me through those scary steeps and slopes. However, we got to taste the fruits of our labour- it was the beautiful and breathtaking view of the mountains and hills- after sweating and trekking those rough and unbalanced pavements.
And at last, it was the cold shower that all of us yearned badly, and guess what? I went in to a seemingly clean toilet and took off all of my clothes, then I saw a huge spider... so I have no choice but to continue my bath. :0
During the night, we had our long awaited grand campfire. I really have to thank Jeremy, Dominic, Erica, Zul, Lynn, Sebastian, Jazlyn and all of the leaders that made our a cappella and cheer worked :) And of course the campfire would have been impossible without each of us working together:) We Champions Burn!!
Finally, the night ended where we sing songs that bring us fond memories, nostalgic songs that bring us back to the good old days. That night, our girls dorm was filled with snores and our tired souls had a restless night :)
Last but not least, the final day! Honestly, how many of you have been yearning for that day to come? Honestly, I had. I really missed my family. So, all of us got up early just to prepare for the last trek of the camp, we packed all of our bags and made sure that everything is ready to go. Oh and another funny thing is that we had several cages for us to place our bags so as to prevent any curious monkeys from "exploring our bags""
However, guess what? The last day was raining, thus we were unable to do the trek, I totally remembered hearing a sigh of relief washed through the crowd!
So, the head of the mawai eco camp, took out his guitar once again and we soaked ourselves in the nostalgic old melodies and songs like YMCA, Beat it, Somewhere over the rainbow and many more good old songs. With the soft beating of raindrops on the shelter and all three amazing groups singing, it was just perfect.
And then it was time for us to say our good byes and depart for Singapore.
Overall, I did miss the teamwork, the bonding and the fun memories we created there. It was a really good experience for all of us, as we are living in the affluent society in the cosmopolitan Singapore, to stretch ourselves out of our comfort zones. We also reaped countless benefits and get to instill a plethora of values from this amazing camp.
To conclude my reflection, I want to say a big thank you to Singapore polytechnic for giving me this invaluable opportunity to explore mawai. And a big thank you to the leaders and facilitator for making this camp possible.
Finally, to the three amazing groups, Alpha, Bravo, Champions, thanks for making this camp so complete and FUN!!!
Thanks for reading this Reflection, have a great week ahead!! :D
Sincerely, Daphne.

Do not feel sad or disappointed in yourself ever again...
Hi everyone, you landed on this very posts because you might be lost somewhere out there, you might be feeling so empty and you might be feeling so tired like your soul have been aggressively sucked out of you. However, just give me a while to talk to you and comfort you.
In this world that we live in, a simple blue green planet you might think. But it is actually filled with many people that are either holding on to their last breath, last wish or last strength. Every single one of you out there have your own set of burdens and own jar of problems, but that's inevitable, because that is reality, that is life, you just have to accept it and embrace it. It is the package that comes with life. But you know, it is a very natural human instinct to feel sad or disappointed in yourself about a problem or something that just happened to you.
However, always think of the bright side. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, always think of the positive things, because at the end of it all, no one wants to succumb to feeling negative and sorrowing over something. God have given you this life because he knows that only you are strong enough to live it, only you have the key to open that door and only you knows the answer to that final question in your life. So I urge you to put away whatever negative things that might come to your way.
I know it is easier said than done, but I am here to at least talk you out of that gloomy bubble you have been entrapping yourself in. Believe that tomorrow will be better, Trust that things happen for a reason and look forward to the present. Whether is it that you lose your loved ones, you failed that important exams, you broke up with your soul mate or you just had a terrible day/week. Just do not give up, hold on there and persevere till the end, because there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel! And have faith in yourself, believe that one day everything will be smooth sailing. And it will be the way you want it to be.
Life comes with many ups and down, but it is really up to you to interpret your life. You can see it in a way that everything is grey and dark or you can also see it in the other way, where everything is bright and hopeful. You have only this one life to be who you are, to be what you are, to be with your family, to be with your friends, to be holding on to your name, so be grateful and live your life to the fullest. Do what you love and live what you love, you can never turn back the clock to change things or make things the way you wanted, so look forward and stay strong. Because ultimately, the flower that blooms in adversity is the most beautiful amongst all. I hope that with time all of your wounds can heal, and remember the antidote or cream to apply on your wounds is your tears... Your tears have the strength to do that, believe me, let it out, pour out your sorrows, don bottle up the antidote to heal your wounds. For the longer your wounds stay, they will leave a mark forever- a scar.
You know, the god, the sky have taken in too much everyday that it rains to let go of the sorrows and misery you let out. And with the rain comes beautiful blooming flowers and trees, that is the beautiful thing that can happen to you if you do not drown yourself in your sadness and disappointment. Be strong, step out of that dark days and live happily from now onwards... Spend more time with your family, your pets, your loved ones, make your life meaningful and make your very own journey. Nothing is impossible and your fate is not cast on stone, do what you believe!
I sincerely hope you all will feel empowered to see better days. May you face the next phase of your life with renewed vigour, create your own destiny and venture out of the dark forest to find a magical place you want to live in.
Forget your sorrows. Forget the pain. Remember that life is never easy. Remember that you are perfect.
Thanks for reading, have a great day ahead. Till the next time,
Sincerely, Daphne :)

The Magical Candle !!!

Hey Everyone! How have you all been doing? So, basically I am writing this very posts to share with all of you guys my favourite candle of all times! I have always seen many youtubers do room tours and bathroom tours where they show their love for the different types of candles, like peppermint, lavender or yankee candles. But, since young, I have never really like one that much before. I mean, I am alright with candles but not really obsessed with it.
However, this very candle just lit my heart and make me feel so happy when I see it. Probably my weird obsession, but I love anything that kind of represents the sky, the rain, the seasons, northern lights or the galaxy landscapes. It just takes my breath away and make me feel like I am floating happily. Lighting the perfect candle can really show you wonders and make you feel warm and comfortable.
So, I really do recommend all of you to invest in a candle that you like and light it every night to let you feel comfortable and homely. Of course, please be extra careful not to place the candle near any fire hazards place like near the curtains or papers.
And as you can see from the above pictures, this candle have a bottom layer that changes colours! From red to pink to purple then blue to green. Doesn't it feel like the northern lights? How cool and amazing is that!!
So, if you are wondering where I got this candle, I got it at Singapore expo where there is huge sale. You can certainly find candles anywhere, at your local store or shopping malls. However, if I do chanced upon this very candle, I might buy more to sell on this blog, so it will be easier for you guys!
Talking about that, I am hereby informing you that, I am going to also officially use this very blog to sell some of my handicrafts, cute supplies and etc. So, do anticipate and support me in the future!
So, go on and start now! Find the perfect candle that will light up your world and make all of your dreams sweet and lovely! May the candle of your life burns forever.
Thanks for your kind attention and may you have an amazing day ahead!
Till the next time,
Sincerely, Daphne :)
